Lesjöfors Springs America, Inc. is a North American manufacturer of custom flat springs and spring assemblies, specializing in power springs, spiral torsion springs, constant force springs, and spring reels. Since 1926, as SandSteel Mainspring in NYC and Lesjofors Springs America in 2015, we have continued to engineer flat strip springs to precise torque and turn specifications for OEMs across multiple industries.

North American Flat Spring Manufacturing Since 1926

Our heritage in flat strip spring manufacturing dates to 1926, when we began producing clock springs for the watch industry. Nearly a century of continuous production has built deep expertise in flat mechanical springs — enabling us to serve increasingly complex specifications across automotive, industrial, defense, appliance, and medical markets.

Today, Lesjöfors Springs America operates dual manufacturing facilities in Pittston, Pennsylvania and Nogales, Mexico, providing competitive lead times across North American supply chains. As a member of the Lesjöfors Group, we combine local manufacturing responsiveness with global engineering resources and supply chain breadth.

In 1989, we expanded capacity with our Nogales, Mexico plant to improve customer accessibility and serve growing industries across the continent.
